Reception/KS1 Form Teacher

Details of the Role

The Senior Management Team are currently seeking a full-time Reception/KS1 Teacher on a permanent basis from September 2026.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and qualities:

Qualified Teacher Status and experience as a Form Teacher in a similar working environment.
Teaching experience in the Primary and/or Preparatory sector.
Experience and knowledge of contemporary methods in Primary education and assessment systems.
Able to use a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
Able to plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework and National Curriculum for KS1.
Able to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment, and promote a love of learning through play-based and structured learning experiences.
Able to establish and maintain high expectations for behaviour.
A committed team member with presence and good communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of success in developing pupils and challenging them to excel.
IT literate and the ability to apply this skill in the educational environment.
Familiarity with the ISI and or/Ofsted inspection processes.
Knowledge of teaching Read Write Inc would be beneficial.

Remuneration

Salary will be dependent upon experience.
