We all know how easily school uniform goes missing.  Those things that are labelled are more likely to make their way back to the correct owner.  If ordering from my nametags which sell both stickers and iron on please use the school code.

Previous Meeting Minutes

September 2018

Thank YOu

Huge thank you to the WFA and Ricardo

Many of you may have noticed the structure that Ricardo has been building next to Acorn Lodge over the past few weeks.  This has been funded by the WFA as an area to offer to the children as a sheltered area for both the summer and winter.  I know the children are really going to make such use of this and I would like to thank Ricardo for the excellent shelter that he has made and for the WFA for supporting this.

The WFA had their first annual meeting.  At the meeting we discussed forthcoming events and where we would be spending our WFA funds this year, please refer to the minutes on the WFA page of the school website for further details.  A vote was held to confirm the new Secretary as Lori Roberts, a Yr 4 mum.  We would also like to welcome our new and returning class reps.  For your reference the year reps are as follows:
Foundation - Maria Dickinson
Reception – Sinita Athwal and Ami Bhatt
Year 1 – Donna Collins-Lindsay and Jenni Regent
Year 2 – Faye Fadden
Year 3 – Lori Roberts
Years 4 – Nicola Day and Lottie Paton
Year 5  - Nadia Walsh
Year 6 – Sarah Stancer
We are still in need of a representative for the nursery and would welcome anyone who would like to step up for this role. Please contact the chair of the WFA, Faye Fadden - info@waverleyschool.co.uk

Waverley Friends' Association (WFA)

The parents' association of Waverley School and Nursery.

All families of pupils at our school are members of the WFA. The school relies on funds raised by the WFA to provide additional resources and enhancements for the children and the help and support of all members is greatly appreciated.

We meet approximately once a term to discuss and plan activities, events and spending of funds and all parents and staff are warmly invited.

Our fundraising efforts enhance the experience of all the children at the school, through purchases large and small.

Our social calendar includes popular events for children, such as tuck shops, the family disco,  the Christmas event, Summer Fete and the Easter Egg Hunt, and for parents, such as the social evenings and our spectacular annual race night.

Our committee consists of three representatives, along with many other class reps who join in as regularly as they are able. The current representative positions are: Chair Faye Fadden, Treasurer Claire Stephens and Secretary Lori Roberts.

Thank you to everyone who has taken part by giving their time, money or expertise to make this all possible.

If you would like to take part in the WFA team, please get in touch with your class rep or  come along to the meeting or sign up to the ' Waverley friends' facebook page.
