Year 2 Visit the Rainforest

Last Friday our pupils in Year 2 enjoyed a trip to the Living Rainforest near Newbury.

During the trip they explored the plants and animals that live in the rainforest and saw monkeys, a dwarf crocodile, turtles, Pacu fish, a salmon pink Bird Eating Spider, a Chameleon and Poison Arrow Frogs.

The children went on a tour, called Edible Forests which taught them about the wide variety of foods that can be found in the rainforest. They now know how to survive if ever they were lost in the rainforest!
