World War II Day

Earlier today, pupils in Years 5 and 6 took part in an exciting and educational World War II experience, led by Portals To The Past. Throughout the day, the children explored the timeline of the war, participated in a bomb disposal activity, tried their skills at code breaking and examined a range of artefacts and weapons.

The sessions brought history to life and helped the children deepen their understanding of this significant period, whilst also enjoying a selection of hands-on activities. It was a highly informative day and great fun for everyone involved.
