Success at ISA Athletics Finals

A huge well done to Year 6 pupils Eddie and Amabel, who traveled to Birmingham on yesterday to compete in the ISA Athletics Finals. Both secured their spots at yesterday's Finals, by winning their respective events at the ISA London West Qualifiers earlier this month.

We are very pleased to share that Amabel ran brilliantly, finishing 5th in the 600m, while Eddie was sensational in the shot put, smashing his PB distance and securing 2nd place overall (just 1cm shy of first!) Eddie even had the honour of receiving his silver medal from Alexandra Bell, a British athlete who represented Great Britain in the 800 metres at the Tokyo Olympics. We are so incredibly proud of them both for representing Waverley so brilliantly!
