Reception visit Brooklands
As part of their Transport topic, the Reception Class visited Brooklands Museum on Thursday.
There were lots of 'wow' moments, particularly when they were sitting in the F1 racing car and
on the seat of a Harrier Jump Jet.
They also walked through part of a Wellington Bomber, practised Morse Code in an RAF
training plane, climbed to the top of a London Bus, walked under Concorde. climbed a test hill
and saw amazing cars, motorbikes and bicycles.
As Annabel said, "that was brilliant", at the end of our day. Whenever they were asked which
school they were from there was a proud chorus of "Waverley"!
