Nursery Spring Term Topic

The Nursery children have been really enjoying themselves this week creating wonderful artwork using a wide range of materials, pens, pencils and paint for their Spring term topic 'Animals'.

The children have been enjoying the story 'Dear Zoo'. They have created a 'lift the flap' display on the board and coloured pictures of animals to hide behind the doors.

Children used different coloured paints to decorate one half of a butterfly, which is classed as a 'Mini beast' then folded it in half to create a mirror image of the design on the other wing. They look beautiful displayed on the Nursery wall.

The lion has sand paper paws and soft felt ears, the children love the sensory experience when they touch and feel the different textures.
