Junior Maths Challenge
The Junior Maths Challenge takes place every year across the country and able pupils from Years Five and Six are invited to participate in the first round. The challenge takes the form of a written paper with some challenging puzzles and problems drawn from all areas of mathematics.
This year our pupils performed exceptionally well and we celebrated their achievements in assembly this week.
Our Gold Award winners were:-
Maddie, Aleksandar, Elizabeth and Yemo. Congratulations to you all with a special mention for Maddie and Aleksandar who only dropped one mark.
Our Silver Award Winners were:-
Nik, Benjamin, Darcy, Jee, Ayush,and Owen
Our Bronze Award winners were:-
Mya, Joe, Amethyst, Harriett, and Rhea
Well done to everyone else who participated and worked so hard.
We have eight pupils eligible for the next round of the competition. These places are hotly contested so a ballot system is used. We wish them the best of luck and hope to have good news in the Spring!
