House Cross Country Competition 2026

This morning, we held our annual House Cross Country Competition. It was a beautiful morning with the sun shining and everyone was in great spirits. The children set off in stages, with the younger years running the course that looped around the school field and woodland walk, whilst Year 5 and 6 took on an extra lap of the field.

I would like to say how very proud I am of everyone that took part, not only of the children who are keen runners and completed the course in record timing, but also those who may not typically race but gave it their best shot. This year, we saw incredible performances from all year groups, including a new school record courtesy of Samuel D (Year 4).

Overall, it was JUPITER who came out on top, proudly claiming the coveted trophy!
