Reception Class visit Brooklands Museum

Hollywood Ball
We dined, we danced, we chatted and great fun was had by all at the Hollywood Ball last weekend. The WFA Ball committee did such a super job from the fabulous table settings to the wonderful food. It is always a highlight of the social calendar and this year was no exception.

Of course there is also a fundraising element to the event and the total this year was a tremendous £2261.

This incredible effort means that your contributions to events have raised enough money to buy 20 Learn Pads with all of the bits and pieces Mr Stockton has chosen to enable the children to get the maximum value out of these fabulous computers.

Needless to say Mr Stockton is very excited about the delivery mid-June and the rest of the staff are rather hoping that they will be allowed to share them for their own classes!

We're looking into a new big project to target with our remaining fundraising events from this year and next. So thank you all for your contribution.

May Half Term Holiday Club
Don’t forget to book your places in our Holiday Club, there are still some Craft and Sports places remaining.

Bag 2 School - Textiles Collection
Each year we collect all your unwanted adults' and children's clothing, sheets, blankets, curtains, soft toys, shoes, belts and handbags. The items are recycled for re-use and WFA receive a payment per kilo.

If you are sorting out your winter clothes please keep any unwanted items for our collection which will be just after half term. We will distribute bags nearer the time, but any bin bag is fine.

Sainsbury's Active Kids Campaign 2013
Sainsbury's Active Kids campaign is now open for 2013, offering vouchers for children's sports kit and experiences through schools and community groups.

We would be very grateful of any vouchers you collect when you do your food shopping.

For your convenience the collection box for the vouchers is in the school Reception.
