• Thursday 4 June 2026 Team Waverley Shine at the ISA Athletics On Wednesday, a group of Waverley pupils proudly represented the school at the ISA London West Regional Athletics Meeting, held at the Thames Valley Athletics Centre in Eton. With over 40 schools in attendance, our athletes competed in a range of events including high jump, long jump, shot put, vortex and various track races.

• Friday 27 March 2026 House Cross Country Competition 2026 This morning, we held our annual House Cross Country Competition. It was a beautiful morning with the sun shining and everyone was in great spirits. The children set off in stages, with the younger years running the course that looped around the school field and woodland walk, whilst Year 5 and 6 took on an extra lap of the field.

• Friday 27 March 2026 Scholarship Successes Of Our Current Yr 6 Pupils Congratulations to Rebecca, Ellen, Mikey, William, Sienna, Toby and Aurelia, who have all received scholarship offers from a range of senior schools including Luckley, The Abbey, Farnborough Hill and Crosfields School.
• Friday 27 March 2026 Prize Winners - Spring Term 2026 Earlier today, we held our End of Term Prize Giving Assembly. Pupils from Reception to Year 6 were presented with a variety of awards, cups and certificates. Congratulations to our 2025 Spring term prize winners!

• Wednesday 25 March 2026 WFA Easter Bunny Hunt 2026 This morning, the children enjoyed an 'egg-stra' special treat as they took part in our annual WFA Easter Bunny Hunt! Everyone had great fun searching the playground for decorated pebbles and exchanging their finds for delicious chocolate bunnies. A huge thank you to our incredible WFA for organising the event! • Wednesday 25 March 2026 House Music Competition 2026 Earlier today, we hosted our annual House Music Competition and what an incredible show it was! Our talented pupils wowed us all with their outstanding musical abilities, from stunning vocal performances to impressive instrumental pieces. As with most years, the competition was fierce (particularly during the group House performances) but every child rose to the occasion and truly shone.

• Thursday 12 March 2026 Waverley Enjoys Fun 'Science Faction' Workshop Earlier today, the whole school took part in exciting Science Faction Workshops to celebrate British Science Week. The children enjoyed lots of fun experiments packed with fascinating science facts. From creating lava lamps to explore density, to watching the creation of 'elephant's toothpaste' to demonstrate a chemical reaction with hydrogen peroxide, there was plenty to be excited about.

• Thursday 5 March 2026 An 'Egg-citing' Few Weeks at Waverley Over the past two weeks, we have been delighted to welcome some very special new visitors to Waverley - nine fluffy chicks that hatched as part of our Living Eggs experience. The children have loved watching the chicks grow, from their first moments breaking out of their eggs to developing tiny wings and growing in size. Many classes also enjoyed hands-on visits throughout the week, giving pupils the chance to learn about the chicks up close.

• Thursday 26 February 2026 Chinese New Year Celebrations 2026 This week we enjoyed a Chinese New Year assembly and special workshops led by Waverley parent, Mrs Liang. The children learnt how to write ‘Happy New Year' in Chinese and also discovered the meaning behind each symbol in the phrase. In the assembly, we also learnt about the Year of the Horse and discovered that some of our Year 6 pupils were born in the previous Year of the Horse (2014). I would like to thank Mrs Liang for both her engaging workshops and informative assembly.
