About Our Curriculum

We are proud of our specialist facilities and make good use of our playing field, Library, ICT Suite and Science, Art and Design Technology Lodge.

Our Early Years children follow the curriculum as designed for 'Birth to Three' and they work towards achieving the Early Learning Goals and beyond.

Children in the Lower and Upper School follow an enhanced National Curriculum.  French is introduced in Reception and swimming from Y1.  These subjects continue throughout Key Stage 1 and 2.  ICT is taught to all children.  There are networked computers and whiteboards in all classrooms and children in Key Stages 1 and 2 receive lessons in our ICT Suite, which has networked computers.  As the children move into Key Stage 2, they are gradually introduced to specialist teaching in Art, Games, ICT, Music, Science and French.

All our children are encouraged to stay healthy and active by participating in sport.  Our sports teachers provide a wealth of events and opportunities for the pupils including participation in competitive matches.
