Our School

Waverley School provides a warm and welcoming environment in which pupils make a very good start to their education.  They benefit from a high proportion of good teaching, enabling them to achieve high standards by the time they leave.  Staff know pupils individually, care for them greatly and provide for their personal development very well, both in and out of the classroom.  As a result, pupils become confident learners and mature members of the school community.

Waverley School is a school with many strengths and it meets all the requirements of the regulations.  It offers a broad and balanced curriculum.  It is well managed; relationships between adults and pupils are good.

The quality of teaching is good and frequently very good.  The pupils are well behaved and they are taught to respect and tolerate the views of others.  They feel safe and valued as individuals.
