Benefits

As part of CfBT Education Trust, our teachers will benefit from regular professional development.  Principals from all CfBT schools meet regularly to share good practice and plan initiatives to enhance the curriculum and provide inter-school opportunities.

We are proud of our school ethos and caring family atmosphere.  We aim to have good links with the community and our children are regularly encouraged to look beyond our school environment.  At Waverley School, we educate the whole child and aim for children to leave us ready for the challenges ahead.  Staff provide as many opportunities as possible to promote and build children's self esteem and self confidence.

Children in Year 5 and 6 attend a four day residential trip where they learn to be independent and visit places of interest.

Throughout the school, children are encouraged to take on responsibility.  In Year 6 children take on the roles of House Captains and Monitors.
