When does school start?

The Waverley school day starts at 8.30am and the formal day runs until 3.30pm. There is a breakfast club that operates between 8.00am and 8.30am and after school club and a range of activities that occur between 3.30pm and 6.00pm.

Should we bring pack lunches?

No, every child in our Wokingham prep school, preschool and the nursery enjoys a lunch prepared on the premises from the best food we can source. The staff sit with children to enjoy their lunch to encourage and develop good table manners.

Homework each evening?

Yes, all pupils in the school will be asked to complete Prep. The type and amount of work will be commensurate with the age and stage of the child. There is also a Homework club in the school after school when a teacher will supervise a quiet room where this work can be done.

Extra help?

The school seeks actively to find out exactly what type of help is required and then reflects this help in the teaching provided. The school also has two learning support assistants who work with the teaching staff to provide particular guidance if needed.
