Curriculum
At Waverley we offer an enhanced curriculum, which is tailored to each child’s individual need. We aim to enable every child to achieve his or her full potential and to thrive in an ethos of support, while being challenged and encouraged to succeed. Our bespoke facilities enable our curriculum to be delivered innovatively and effectively, making Waverley an exciting place to learn. We have a networked ICT suite, a library, a Science, DT and Art room, music rooms, home economic facilities, two halls and a playing field.
Children at Waverley are introduced to specialist music and language teaching from the Pre Prep. This continues through Key Stage 1 and at Key Stage 2 children are taught by specialist teachers in Art, Games, ICT, Music, Science, French and German. Swimming is taught from Year 1. From Year 5 we offer additional classes for 11+ and scholarship candidates.
