ICT

ICT is taught in the dedicated ICT suite by our specialist teacher. All children in the school from pre-prep through to year 6 are given time each week to improve their ICT skills in the suite. We also encourage children to use ICT as a research tool during lessons in their classrooms. During ICT lessons we try to keep up with the ever changing world of computers. From an early age children are taught basic skills from mouse control to typing. As they progress through school children build on these skills and improve them. There is a balanced approach to both office based skills and programming skills. By the end of year 6 children will have had the opportunity to create their own year book detailing their time spent at Waverley using the skills they have learnt across the years.
