Open Days

Our Open days will be held on Saturday 28^th January and April 21^st January 2012 from 10 am to 1pm.

This is a perfect opportunity to view our super facilities, to meet staff and current pupils, and to see the unique ethos of the school and discuss the benefits of an education at Waverley.

Throughout the morning, tours conducted by current pupils will be taking place starting at the Entrance Hall.

During the morning current pupils will be taking part in age appropriate activities which prospective pupils are also welcome to attend if they wish. Places for the activity sessions may be pre-booked.

Order of the day:

10:15 – 11:00             “Adventures in Art” activity in the Community Hall

11:00 – 11:30              Coffee and homemade cakes in Melton Hall with a short address from the Headteacher

11:45 – 12:30              “Making Models” activity in the ICT suite and Science Room

Scholarships

We are pleased to announce that Waverley will be once again offer Scholarship Awards for pupils currently in years one to five.

Academic Scholarship Awards for children who show academic potential in one or more areas, will follow an examination day, which will include a formal interview, to be held on 1^st February (or 6^th February for Year One candidates) and April 25^th.

As well as excellent academics, Waverley has a reputation for superb Performing Arts and cater well for children with talent in this area. Therefore, this year we will also be offering scholarships, into Key Stage Two, for candidates showing exceptional talent in music or speech and drama. Performance Scholars will also be required to demonstrate a good level of academic ability in the examination papers, again to fit with the profile of our existing pupils.

Potential applicants for Scholarship Awards are invited to join our Open Days, to be held on Saturday 28^th January and 21^st April, please contact the school to book a place.
